All CPU’s need the ability to accept a 100BT Ethernet network card. Purchase a name brand computer that is designed for a business environment with an extended warranty.

NT or Windows 2000 Server (If running fileserver version) with a minimum of 64MB Ram.

The server or host computer needs a backup device and a phone modem.

17” Color Monitors. NEC, Sony, IIYAMA, Viewsonic are all excellent monitors. The better the monitor, the better its ability to view fine text such as numbers. The ability to view 1024 x 768 resolution is recommended.

A Hewlett Packard ink-jet or laser printer. The ink jet cartridges and toner for HP are available at nearly every office supply making them very convenient. Their printers are also very durable. The printer needs the capability of being used in a network environment.

All of the necessary cables for the above equipment.

A quality/economical Ethernet hub, with a minimum of 8 ports. 10/100 BT
