The Tablet PC revolution can come to you
today - Toshiba's Portege 3500 packs a
ton of computing power into a form factor
just over 4 pounds. It's configured with
a 1.333GHz Pentium III-M procesor, a 512KB
L2 cache, a 40GB hard drive and 256MB
PC133 SDRAM (expandable to 1GB). In addition
to the 133MHz front bus speed, the 3500
features one Type II PC Card slot, one
Secure Digital slot and one CompactFlash
Type II slot. For your communications
needs, it contains four integrated solutions:
Fast Infrared, IEEE 802.11b wireless Ethernet,
a 56K V.92 modem and a 10/100 Ethernet
connection. The Trident CyberAladdin-T
graphics controller with 16MB external
UMA video memory supports resolutions
up to 1024 x 768 on the 12.1" TFT
LCD display, and it also supports external
display up to 1600 x 1200. You'll love
the Ali M1535 integrated software sound
with built-in speaker and microphone.
The 3500 comes with a full-size keyboard,
a Toshiba Tablet Pen with hovering feature,
a built-in touchpad, a rechargeable Li-Ion
battery pack and an AC adapter. Windows
XP Tablet Edition is pre-installed.
