Both FloorRight and FloorRight Commercial offer a wide range of ways to import your data into this powerful estimating software. This allows you to completely customize the way in which you interface the program, depending upon your needs and budget!

In its most simple configuration, you can input your measurements and data through your mouse and keyboard, using FloorRight's easy-to-use drawing tools. However, you can also import a scanned image or blueprint, and simply trace the rooms. FloorRight's snap-to-grid feature means that you don't even have to be able to "draw a straight line" in order to produce professional room drawings to scale!

FloorRight Commercial has the added feature of importing from a GTCO digitizing board, or through AutoCAD! For our Commercial users, you can now do your blueprint take-offs directly from a GTCO digitizing board. Simply secure your blueprint to the digitizer board, click to set the blueprint's scale, and use the "puck" to click your way around the edges of each room! FloorRight translates your clicks into measured room layouts. What once took a week to do, can now be done easily in a matter of hours!

Already have a digitized room from AutoCAD? No problem! Just select "AutoCAD" from the Import option in the File menu, and you're ready to go!

But by far, the easiest way to enter data into FloorRight or FloorRight Commercial, is to import your precisely-measured data DIRECTLY from a Leica DISTO meter! Simply use your DISTO laser measuring device to "point and click" each room's directional measurements into the corresponding pre-defined room layouts, connect the DISTO to your computer that has the FloorRight software installed, and select the "Import" option from the File menu! That's it. FloorRight AUTOMATICALLY draws the rooms to scale for you! You'll never have to spend time re-creating hand-drawn sketches again, which in and of itself will save you time and money.
